9/11 Memorial Museum in New York City
Beneath the reflecting pool of the North Tower of the former World Trade Center, the 9/11 Memorial Museum in New York City recounts the terror attacks that took place here in 1993 and 2001. With the 9/11 Memorial Plaza above outlining the footprint of the towers, the museum itself is a step inside the foundation and many surviving fragments of the complex.
A visit to the National September 11 Memorial & Museum is truly a sobering and reflective experience. It's emotional and humanizing, and offers a glimpse into a narrative that is still very much evolving and impacting the world we live in today.
