Located in Alberta's Rocky Mountains, Leitch Collieries is an abandoned coal mine and processing plant. The location is now a provincial historic site, and the remaining buildings have been stabilized and preserved as ruins for visitors to explore.

Cypress Club in Medicine Hat, Alberta
Established in 1903, the Cypress Club in downtown Medicine Hat, Alberta was built as a formal meeting place and social club for prominent local businessmen and politicians to discuss issues of the day. After over a century the Cypress Club is still in operation, and remains in the downtown building that they had built in 1907.
