Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room
It's campy, it's kitschy, it's catchy! Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida is one of those classic old-school attractions that you can't help but fall in love with. All the birds sing words and the flowers croon, after all.

Home Alone House in Winnetka, Illinois
Located just north of downtown Chicago in the affluent community of Winnetka, Illinois you'll find the iconic house from Home Alone (1990). There have been a few changes to the property over the decades, but the 'Home Alone House' is still immediately recognizable as the McCallister family home that Kevin defended from the invading Wet Bandits. I have to say it's pretty surreal to find yourself standing inside the familiarity of a Christmas classic. Awesome, but surreal.
Even the power pole is still here. |
The house the Wet Bandits were arrested in is just across the street. |
The garage is gone. As is the U-shaped driveway. |
"Kevin! What have you done to my room!?" |

On 2nd: Documentary
A downtown block in my hometown of Medicine Hat, Alberta. A photo series that began in 2012. A brand new documentary short born out of being in the right place at the right time.
On 2nd explores the recent evolution of the first block of 2nd Street in downtown Medicine Hat, Alberta. In 2012 I began exploring and photographing a lot of the vacant and / or abandoned buildings around downtown. Little did I know at the time, but a wave of renewal was about to hit and change everything. Here's a closer look at how it unfolded.
Bringing this project to life wouldn't have been possible were it not for the handful of businesses and community members who saw the potential in this idea and stepped up to help me make it happen. Thank you again to the following:
