On 2nd: Documentary

A downtown block in my hometown of Medicine Hat, Alberta. A photo series that began in 2012. A brand new documentary short born out of being in the right place at the right time. 

On 2nd explores the recent evolution of the first block of 2nd Street in downtown Medicine Hat, Alberta. In 2012 I began exploring and photographing a lot of the vacant and / or abandoned buildings around downtown. Little did I know at the time, but a wave of renewal was about to hit and change everything. Here's a closer look at how it unfolded.

Aerial Views of Red Rock Coulee

The incredible Mars-like surface of Red Rock Coulee in Alberta is only made more dramatic when seen from above with the help of a drone. After filming some material for another project in the area earlier this year, I stopped off at Red Rock Coulee to shoot some aerial photography and footage of this amazing landscape.
