Several years ago a business trip landed me in Singapore, however the experience turned out to be anything but work. From Singapore Flyer views, cruising through Marina Bay, thrills on Sentosa, and an iconic Merlion - we made the most of any and all downtime we had.
I was there essentially doing some archival photography and video work, however the city was a far more fascinating subject. The visuals that followed resulted in some really memorable opportunities to shoot travel photography all over Singapore.
If the food and nightlife weren't enough to make the experience memorable, our whirlwind schedule in the country certainly was. On our final day in Singapore we got caught in a rain storm after a walk we took to dip our feet in the South China Sea. It was a simple moment, but even now it makes me nostalgic for the trip. Below are a few of the casual visuals captured during our adventure in the Lion City. More Singapore content can be explored here.
The beautiful sights, sounds, and smells of Pike Place Market in Seattle, Washington are always a welcome invitation to explore. From fish throwing to gum covered walls, the market is a hive of activity and a visual playground for photographers, artists, foodies, and the like.
You're bound to find something new with each visit. Pike Place Market offers up some the best of the Pacific Northwest (in an obviously Seattle-centric way) all in one incredibly popular locale. The energy here is addicting, and from the unique vendors to buskers and tourists, it's also one of the best places in Seattle to people watch. Explore more from this series here.
