Downtown Medicine Hat, Alberta: Part 1

There's a lot of hidden charm in downtown Medicine Hat, Alberta. Over the last year I feel like I've stumbled onto lots of new shops and restaurants that I didn't know were there. It's like I said in my post about the revitalization of 2nd Street, it seems like there's a lot of optimism in the air about the future of downtown these days.

I captured all of these pictures over the summer, but in the last couple of years I've actually documented a number of specific downtown locations in greater detail. Check out the links I've posted below some of these images to further explore these Medicine Hat landmarks.

This summer I was contracted to shoot aerial photography of a development project near Drumheller. We chartered a helicopter that took off from Horseshoe Canyon, and to say that the views enhanced the experience is an understatement.
