The Tragically Hip in Medicine Hat, Alberta

Last night I had the extreme pleasure of photographing The Tragically Hip as they performed at the brand new Canalta Centre in Medicine Hat, Alberta. The Hip pulled out all of the stops and had the audience on their feet the moment they stepped on stage. Even from behind the lens I knew I was witnessing something pretty spectacular as I weaved my way through the pit to document the experience. No question, The Tragically Hip know how to put on a show!  

The Tenors in Medicine Hat, Alberta

Last night The Tenors performed in Medicine Hat, Alberta and were the first ever concert to be held in the brand new Canalta Centre. I had a media pass to photograph the event, and it was a great contrast to all of the shooting I did at the Canalta Centre this summer as construction of this new venue was being completed. The Tenors put on a beautiful show! I can't wait to see what other acts this new event space brings to Medicine Hat.
