Dating back to 1583, Osaka Castle is often regarded as one of Japan's most famous landmarks. Surrounded by lush gardens and moats within central Osaka, Japan, this landmark has been rebuilt several times throughout its long history.
Following World War II the castle was completely rebuilt using steel reinforced concrete. Today, Osaka Castle houses a museum and observation deck and the surrounding park is known for its food vendors and year round festivals - particularly during the cherry blossom bloom.
