Rockefeller Center in New York City

Constructed throughout the 1930s in Midtown Manhattan, Rockefeller Center is a New York City cultural landmark, entertainment center, and Art Deco wonder consisting of 19 different commercial buildings. Centered around 30 Rockefeller Plaza, the tallest tower in the complex, the landmark is highlighted by attractions like Radio City Music Hall, the Top of the Rock observation deck, and the annual Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree and skating rink.  

Made iconic by various appearances in pop culture, Rockefeller Center is famously the headquarters of NBC Studios and where Saturday Night Live and the Tonight Show are filmed. Rockefeller Center is also noteworthy for its public art with more than 100 murals, sculptures, and mosaics created by 39 different artists on display.
