Gemini Drive-In in Redcliff, Alberta
Closed in 2005, the Gemini Drive-In Theatre in Redcliff, Alberta was a popular hangout for decades. Following the closure much of the site - including the entrance, concession, and speaker posts were removed, however the screen remained intact for years. This monolith was visible from the Trans Canada Highway while passing through town and I recently rediscovered these images I shot in 2012 before the screen was finally dismantled the following year.

Ah, the nostalgia! I remember seeing a Finding Nemo/Pirates of the Caribbean double feature here! Must have been around 2003-'04. It's been interesting to see drive-ins making a bit of a comeback during the pandemic.
