Just a short drive from Medicine Hat, Alberta you'll find Elkwater in Cypress Hills Provincial Park. Elkwater is a popular camping destination, a great place to enjoy some time by the lake, and an ideal Southeast Alberta spot for a hike in the woods. Naturally, living nearby, I've been visiting and enjoying Elkwater and the Cypress Hills since I was a kid.
