Over the last few years I've built a photo series showcasing my hometown titled, Around the Hat. Naturally, I focused a lot on the clay district, including Medalta Potteries, the Hycroft China Factory, the former I-XL Brick Plant, and the former site of Alberta Clay Products. Not only has the history fascinated me, but by coincidence I found myself capturing the redevelopment of Medicine Hat's clay district as it transformed into an established cultural landmark. These are a few highlights from the growing series.

"If These Walls Could Talk"
How much do you know about Medalta or The Market at Medalta or Medalta International Artists in Residence? Earlier this year I had the opportunity to explore this historic site in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada with the goal of creating a video to showcase what makes this place tick. I can tell you one thing for sure - as cool as the history is, it's a lot more than just a museum today.
