Sunset on Coronado Beach

After driving over 2500 km along the Pacific Coast of the United States, this was the view that greeted us as we reached our final stop along the ocean. We had made it to Coronado Beach in southern California, just across the bay from downtown San Diego. 

We arrived as the sun was setting and were treated to these incredible colours as we stepped onto the beach. As though the entire trip hadn't been memorable enough, this was the perfect setting to reflect on everything we'd seen and done over nearly two weeks of road tripping the coast.
