Last week I found myself immersed in Medicine Hat Jazz Fest and ended up catching the Wayne MacLellan Band performing at Inspire Cafe. I love the music scene at Inspire and the history behind the Hargrave Sissons Block. I was collaborating with my friend Josh Pick to shoot some footage for a future video, and took the opportunity to capture a few images along the way.
This year's Spectrum Festival in Medicine Hat, Alberta moved to North Railway Street and Rotary Park. It was on the other side of the tracks instead of downtown for the first time, which provided a good excuse to do some exploring. There was a Vegas theme this time around, and while overall Spectrum wasn't much different than it's been in years past, I did appreciate the change of scenery. Here's a bit of what I captured.
