Chateau Lake Louise in Banff: Part 1
During my brief stop in Lake Louise this summer, I couldn't pass up the chance to explore the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Much like the Banff Springs, Chateau Lake Louise is another iconic and historic hotel within Banff National Park. It was built by the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1911 as an early tourist destination in the Rockies. As you can see, despite numerous renovations and expansions over the decades, the property hasn't lost its charm.
