Constructed in the late sixties, and officially opened in 1970, the Medicine Hat Arena located in Medicine Hat, Alberta is a 4000 seat sporting facility used primarily for the Medicine Hat Tigers hockey team. The arena has received numerous upgrades over its lifespan, however it's soon to be replaced by the new Medicine Hat Event Centre (Canalta Centre) in 2015.
