Now in the grips of winter, I returned to the site once again to focus on all of the painted signage (and a bit of graffiti) that adorns the exterior walls of the abandoned factory. In addition to capturing these details, I also wanted some shots of the location in winter to round out this set. I'd probably be doing this a lot more with other locations if it weren't so cold, but I really like how these turned out.

Hycroft China Factory Painted Signs
There's really no question that Hycroft is one of my favorite locations in the city. The character surrounding the factory, the incredible interior, and its role in the clay district make it a distinctly Medicine Hat focal point. I've loved photographing Hycroft because it seems like I always see something new with each visit.
